Field Trip News

The field trip for the fifth grade will happen on May 2, 2008 as most of you know. The money for the trip is not due until the 31st of March, but I have said to the students that the sooner they get it in the less likely they will forget about it and the less likely they will have to worry about it as the trip approaches. The trip is $40.00 per student and $40.00 per chaperone. I only have room for four more chaperones at this point. It is first come first serve on the chaperones. So, as soon as possible please send in the money for your student.

On this site you can search any and all places in the world. Just type in the town you want to see and you can go there and see it. You can become a world explore if you would like. When you goto the page wait for the "see it in action" to pop up and click it. Then click on "Live Search Maps" to explore. Its a really cool site, Check it out!!

New Website

1. Read for 20 minutes. Make sure that you are not reading the same book over and over again, unless it is a chapter book I know that they take longer.

5. Reading Group - read chapter 7 of "Bridge To Terabithia"

1. Read 20 minutes every night. This includes tonight, Saturday night, and Sunday night.
2. Spelling - Write your new words three times each.
3. Essay - Begin or continue to work on your essay. Remember this essay is about what America means to you. You can write about the country, you can write about freedom, or you can just write about what it means to be an American.
4. Reading Group - read chapter 6 of "Bridge to Terabithia"

The one site is about the revolutionary war and it is good to look at for you to get a head start on some facts about the war.
